It’s an homage to the prologue in Mirror’s Edge, right down to the trademark white and red colour palette. Faith didn’t exactly have the undead on her heels but if you still get that City of Glass déjà vu, then it’s worth checking out this custom level. When Dying Light first debuted, obvious comparisons were made to DICE’s Mirror’s Edge, what with the free running and jumping. For a tribute created entirely with mod tools, that's praiseworthy enough. and actually incorporates its fair share of intriguing ideas. Perhaps the best part about this mod is that it doesn’t try to shamelessly copy P.T. with a few Dying Light aspects thrown in to spice things up. Repetition is exactly that – a mod which mirrors the endless hallways and disturbing visuals of P.T. It wouldn’t be a game with mod tools if someone didn’t try to recreate Konami’s P.T. Despite lack of polish in some ways, Skyfall is easily one of Dying Light’s better custom stories. Unfortunately, haunted as he is by the past, Crane embarks on a horrific journey into his mind to hopefully overcome his own trauma. Well, it’s actually the mind of protagonist Kyle Crane who’s married to Jade and has a daughter. The mod takes you into the mind of a man dealing with his personal demons. As a peculiar head-trip of sorts, Skyfall is incredibly worthwhile.
